DNA’s cable TV channels will be activated for you in November 2026. If you don't have a Finnish personal identification number, you can activate your internet connection via DNA Sales Service or at a DNA Store.

What types of internet connections are available for my home?

What should I do if I move out of my current home?

If you move, please contact Customer Service. This allows us to ensure that you will have internet access and other services in your new home as well, and we terminate the services at the old address so that you avoid any unnecessary billing.

How can I ensure fast and reliable broadband at home?

In addition to the subscription, the key factors for having fast and reliable internet access throughout your home are a modem and a WiFi that is set up so that it meets the requirements at your home. The more internet users there are and the more diverse and demanding the internet use, the faster the subscription should be. In addition to speed, you should ensure that your modem is of high quality and has modern features. Homes that have multiple floors or rooms also need a sufficient number of Mesh WiFi extenders to ensure smooth and fast internet access in all rooms.

How do I know which internet connection is best for my home?

Use the address search to view the various internet connection options available for your home. When selecting the internet subscription speed, you should ensure that it is fast enough considering the needs so that you will not run out of bandwidth. After you have selected the speed, you can choose the WiFi modem and Mesh WiFi extenders in line with the internet technology available for your home. What type of modem do I need?

In order for the internet connection to function, you need a WiFi modem, mobile modem or router in line with the internet technology available for your home. First do an address search and select the most suitable internet connection – you will then see the most suitable modem for your internet subscription.

When you purchase a modem from DNA, your internet connection will work and your devices will be securely online. The WiFi modems offered by DNA have been thoroughly tested and optimised for DNA’s network, so you can easily take them into use with DNA Netti without any worries. If you need help setting things up, help is available through the DNA  Apuri installation service.

What is a Mesh WiFi extender?

If your home has multiple rooms or floors, a wireless network (WiFi) may not be available everywhere. In this case, the internet connection drops and is slow, especially when using the internet far from the modem. 

Mesh WiFi extenders enable fast and reliable WiFi even in larger homes or when your home has multiple floors. Mesh WiFi devices form a reliable mesh network in your home, allowing the internet connection to work quickly anywhere in the home – within a single network. 

A good rule of thumb is that one Mesh WiFi extender is enough for a home with 1–3 rooms, two Mesh WiFi extenders are needed for homes having 4–5 rooms and three Mesh WiFi devices are sufficient for homes having six or more rooms. The number of floors also affect WiFi coverage. It is a good idea to have a Mesh WiFi extender on every floor of your home.
