Bravida and Telenor enter a new Nordic partnership

Telenor Sweden and Bravida have entered into a long‑term Nordic partnership as an important part of Bravida’s digital development journey. Telenor will provide Bravida with a modernisation of its network infrastructure, cloud‑based switchboard services and mobile subscriptions for all employees. Together with Bravida, Telenor will also establish an innovation fund to support digital transformation and future service development.

The partnership between Telenor and Bravida includes network services to modernise Bravida’s infrastructure through an SD‑WAN solution in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. SD‑WAN (Software Defined Wide Area Network) is a scalable solution that enables Bravida to centrally and intelligently configure, manage and monitor its entire over 200 sites Nordic IT network securely and flexibly. In addition, Telenor supplies mobile subscriptions to Bravida’s 14 000 employees in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, along with the next‑generation cloud‑based switchboard solution for the whole Nordic region.

"By being part of Bravida’s digital transformation journey, we are well‑positioned to develop improved services for employees. A close partnership means we can clearly demonstrate value, build on successes and remove obstacles quickly. The fact that the collaboration spans several countries gives us the opportunity to scale services across markets", says Jessica Levin, Sales Director at Telenor.

"We sought a partner with an established presence in the Nordic market who could deliver cloud‑based mobile core services and support the transformation of our network. Bravida’s Cloud First strategy, combined with Telenor’s managed SD‑WAN service, creates excellent conditions for the continued development of our modern, secure and accessible digital workplace. This gives our employees even better opportunities to deliver digital and connected services to our customers", says Marcus Ahlström, Bravida’s Head of IT.

Innovation fund to be established

In addition to digital services and the modernisation of the entire network, Telenor is setting up an innovation fund to develop new services and technologies that will benefit Telenor, Bravida and future customers and partners. This may include automation and other smart property services designed to simplify and enhance upcoming project solutions.

"I am very much looking forward to jointly developing the services of the future and using connectivity to bring buildings to life. The innovation fund is unique in that it is linked to a specific partnership, yet its outcomes and insights will create value for many others", Jessica Levin emphasises.
