DNA Spam Call Alert analyses incoming numbers based on their calling behaviour and alerts you if a call is potentially a scam or comes from a number that is used unusually frequently to contact many recipients. The service uses a broad data set and AI-based analysis to identify suspicious patterns.
If a number’s calling behaviour resembles that typically associated with scam calls, the service will warn you of a potential scam. We recommend that you consider carefully whether to answer such calls.
If the calling behaviour is repetitive – meaning the number calls an unusually high number of people – the service will indicate that the number is widely used for outgoing calls. This could, for example, be a robocall, sales call, survey or recruitment campaign. The call may be either wanted or unwanted, so you can make your own decision about answering.
When an unknown number calls, the service displays a notification on your phone screen if it suspects the call may be a scam or nuisance call.
How do I activate DNA Spam Call Alert?
DNA Spam Call Alert is automatically enabled on all DNA Business Varma subscriptions when you activate your subscription. For other DNA Business subscriptions, the service can be added when placing your order. You can also order DNA Spam Call Alert for an existing subscription via Business Customer Service or the YritysDNA self-service portal.
You can switch DNA Spam Call Alert on or off at any time in the YritysDNA portal. Simply go to the details of the subscription and use the toggle to disable or enable the service.
Which subscriptions include DNA Spam Call Alert?
DNA Spam Call Alert is included at no extra cost with DNA Business Varma subscriptions.
For other business subscriptions, DNA Spam Call Alert is available as an add-on for 1,50 € per month.

DNA Spam Call Alert works within DNA’s mobile network and for calls carried over it. The service does not work with calls made through applications (such as WhatsApp or FaceTime).
