LynxNet Oy’s range of services will be expanded to cover wireless broadband, provided via the DNA mobile network.
LynxNet Oy provides its own mobile, i.e. wireless, broadband subscriptions using the DNA network under the product name Mobilus. A USB modem, included in DNA’s range of services and products, is also offered through Mobilus subscriptions.
– Mobilus customers are also LynxNet customers, and are accordingly provided with LynxNet customer service, for instance. However, DNA owns the network and the elements directly related to it. The USB modem is a Plug&Play model that automatically works with LynxNet settings, says LynxNet CEO Osmo Mäenpää.
Several service operators, i.e. those who have decided not to construct their own network, are already operating in the DNA mobile network. LynxNet is the first operator in the DNA network to concentrate on mobile broadband.
– It is great that we were able to add another new operator to our mobile network. In our network, which is the fastest in the market and still constantly developing, the customers of other operators can also enjoy premium-quality mobile broadband services, states Jukka Leinonen, Director, DNA Corporate Business.
The main thing that won LynxNet over was DNA’s flexible operating model.
– We listen carefully to operator customers’ needs. In addition, we have solid routines in the network rental business, explains Petri Hannonen, DNA Manager in charge of service operator business.
LynxNet’s primary target group are small and medium-sized businesses and consumers across Finland.
