M.Sc. (Econ.) Ilkka Pitkänen, 43, has been appointed DNA’s Vice President, Corporate Finance & Administration (CFO) and a member of the Executive Management.
Mr Pitkänen will start in his new position on 1 January 2010. In addition to DNA’s finances, his responsibilities will include personnel, legal, communications, safety and administrative matters. He will report to President and CEO Riitta Tiuraniemi.
Ilkka Pitkänen has vast experience of financial management in both Finland and abroad. He joins DNA from the Metsäliitto Group, where he has worked as the Group CFO since 2005. Prior to this, among other posts, he was part of the KONE Corporation’s financial and corporate planning management in 1997–2005.
